Meet the HostBeth Case is the host and creator of Disability411. She has 13 years of experience in postsecondary disability services, and is now working for Texas Tech University, producing accessible multimedia for some on-line courses in the College of Education while she gets her doctorate in Instructional Technology. Beth is certified by the National Association of the Deaf as a Level III sign language interpreter. She served on the Board of the Association of Higher Education and Disability in Texas (AHEAD in Texas) as President-Elect/President/Past-President from 2004-2006 and previously worked on the PEPNet grant as the Outreach Specialist for the state of Texas. A self-professed technology geek, Beth loves exploring ways that technology can increase accessibility for people with disabilities. |
